vRA7 Business Group Setup

Business groups are used to associate a set of services and resources to a set of users, often corresponding to a line of business, department, or other organizational unit. You create a business group so that you can configure reservations and entitle users to provision service catalog items for the business group members.

Log in to the vRealize Automation console as a Tenant administrator.

1. Select Administration > Users and Groups > Business GroupsClick the Add icon.

     a. Enter a name in the Name, Description text box and add Business group
         managers email address.

     b. Type one or more user names or group names in the Send manager emails to text
box. Multiple entries must be separated with commas. Press Enter.

     c. Configure custom properties if you have any. Click Next.

2. Enter a user name or custom user group name and press Enter. It is not strictly required to specify the users at this time. Click Next.

4. Give the Machine prefix and AD container details here. These are optional though.

5. Click Submit.

  3. Besides this, entrepreneurs also need to secure their location in free zones before setting up a business in UAE. This is mainly because property in free zones are less expensive than properties in other parts of the city. The reason for cheaper property prices is that the government has made the construction of infrastructure in free zones subject to market demand and so builders charge lesser rates. But it must be noted that investors must hire the services of a real estate broker in order to find the best locations.
