vCloud Application Director registers a cloud provider by connecting to a vCloud Automation Center provisioning or business group. Verify that your user account has the ROLE_CLOUD_ADMIN cloud administrator role assigned to it in vRA.
1. Login to the AppD page and login.
3. Click the green plus sign to add a new cloud provider.
4. Provide a Name to it and select 'vCAC' as the Cloud provider type from the drop down. Give the vCAC - IaaS hostname URL with username and password.
Validate the connection and if all works well click on the 'Save' button on the top right corner.
