VMware vRA Application Director Basic Guide

Pre-requisites and Assumptions

Fully functional vSphere environment.
Fully functional vRA environment.
Windows and Linux configured Blueprints in vRA.
Catalogs configured.
Enough resource CPU/Memory/Storage available for provisioning.
Pool of IPs available for use.

Part 1. Install & Configure vRA Application Director.

Part 2. Create Cloud Provider in AppD.

Part 3. Add templates to Cloud Provider and map with Logical template.

Part 4. Prepare the VM template for provisioning - Linux

Part 5. Import external application (Weblogic Clustered Server from Solution Exchange) blueprint.
