3. Upgrade the Virtual Connect firmware.

Virtual Connect Firmware upgrade
Open the VCSU utility in ‘Command line mode’ this time. This can also be done in interactive mode if you want to change any of the default parameters like booting preferences and activation preferences.
Below is the command you have to use to upgrade.
You will see the firmware upgrade is started. It will take nearly 40 minutes to complete depending on how many blades are in your enclosure.
Open the VCSU utility in ‘Command line mode’ this time. This can also be done in interactive mode if you want to change any of the default parameters like booting preferences and activation preferences.
Below is the command you have to use to upgrade.
vcsu –a update –i <OA IP address> -u <OA Username> -p <OA password> -l <location of firmware file> -vcu <VC Username> -vcp <VC password>
Click ‘yes’ once you confirm all the details.
You will see the firmware upgrade is started. It will take nearly 40 minutes to complete depending on how many blades are in your enclosure.
And after roughly 40 minutes you will see the firmware is updated with the details as given in the screenshot above. The time purely depends on number blades in the enclosure.
